The HOLLSTEIN Open-Center Midrise Scissors Platform Lift with 38" rise is the strongest and most stable lift with 6,500 lb capacity when it comes to portable mid-rise lifts. The lifting height can be increased with the addition of  our optional 4" height adapters to achieve up to 42" of working height. When fully lowered the lift offers the lowest drive-over height of 4" in it's class. Therefore no damage will occur to under-car components such as spoilers, exhausts with converters, suspension components, plastic rocker panel covers and so on. The OPEN CENTER platform design offers fast set up without the need to position lift arms and adapters. ( There are no lift pads or adapters to be reached for from under the vehicle.) It overs great access to under-car service and repair due to the 2 platforms being 33" apart. Dual hydraulic lifting cylinders and air operated safety locks make this lift a reliable and safe work horse. Even a low ceiling garage with 9' or 10' ceiling height lets you lift a car or truck to a comfortable working height.
